GET TO KNOW THE ARTIST
Anne Steele recently released a brand new original single called “Love Can Take Us There” that she co-wrote with songwriters Shane Stevens and Stephony Smith. All proceeds of the sale of the single will be donated to the One Orlando Fund to help support the victims of the Pulse Nightclub shooting.
Anne Steele released her first EP of original music titled What’s Mine, in February 2015. What’s Mine is now available via ITunes and CD Baby.
Recommended for fans of Kelly Clarkson, P!nk and Jessie J, What’s Mine is chock full of anthems that will capture the listeners imagination. With a distinct visual aesthetic Anne Steele is crafting pop music with a message. Dedicated to supporting gay rights, yet still willing to address more traditional pop fare, Anne Steele is a truly interesting and eclectic artist. A joy to listen to and always exciting, her latest EP is the kind of release that will get you dancing on your desk, reveling in major key melodies and powerful vocals.
What’s Mine is a thrilling and intimate collection of songs where for the first time Steele utilizes her own words and voice in the songs that she sings. Inspired by the music of Kelly Clarkson, PINK and Sara Bareilles, she has written and developed a pop EP that ranges from dance hits and gay anthems to a thought provoking ballad.

She has channeled her purest form of pride into her new track “Love Can Take Us there” which is the official Provincetown Carnival Anthem for 2016! – Michael Cook, HuffingtonPost.com, Aug 18th, 2016
“What’s Mine is a 6 track powerhouse EP full of dynamic and zestful make-you-wanna-move songs, but don’t be fooled by the catchy, candy-coated melodies – embedded in these dance-floor anthems is a poignant message at heart…If the music itself wasn’t already ambitious enough, Anne Steele’s songs are made all the more powerful by her thought-provoking lyricism, led by honest and impassioned beliefs.”– Julia Lamb from PapercutMag.com, March 17th, 2015
