Cheryl has been a member of the 9-time Grammy winning group “The Manhattan Transfer” since 1979. Bentyne’s beautiful voice, wide range, versatality, and impressive stage presence made her a major asset for the popular vocal group from the start. Her recently released album, Let’s Misbehave: The Cole Porter Songbook, has been recognized by many as the Jazz album of the year.

Mark, a platinum award-winning singer/lyrcist, has released 12 CDs in the US and last year released two CDs, The Laura Nyro Project  and West Coast Cool, that stayed on the Jazz Week Charts for over 6 months. His two CDs were named as one of the top 10 Jazz CDs by All About Jazz, Jazziz and Jazz Times. His songs have been recorded by such artists as Dianne Reeves, Jackie Ryan, Bob Dorough, Randy Crawford and Barbara Morrison. Winkler was recently included as 2015 Rising Star Male Jazz Vocalist in Downbeat Magazine. His newest CD, Jazz and Other Four Letter Words, is a witty, heartfelt and swinging release.

“Winkler delivers his songs with lyrical intensity and a strong undercurrent of swing… Winkler’s combination of writing and performing is a welcome addition to jazz” –Don Heckman, International Jazz Review

“Sharper than a shark skin suit lapel, and swinging harder than a hammer thrower, singers Cheryl (Manhattan Transfer) Bentyne and Mark Winkler delivered a red hot tribute to West Coast Cool I dig” — George W. Harris, Jazz Weekly

“A marvelous, one of a kind show. This is what two great singers, who love jazz sound like. Wow!” — Myrna Daniels, LA Jazz Scene

“West Coast Cool [the CD] is this remarkable duo’s music-only version of their live show, turning its passion for the music into a vocal tribute of one of the most important styles in jazz history.” — Edward Blanco, All About Jazz
