Janet Hammer’s music career is multifaceted. She actively performs throughout Southern California with multiple bands and has toured worldwide, opening for such name acts as Sheryl Crow, the Pointer Sisters, and the Platters. She has worked with musicians from groups including Maynard Ferguson, Natalie Cole, Gordon Goodwin, and the Righteous Brothers. Her recordings include radio jingles, studio work, and several CDs – the latest of which has been nominated for best jazz recording of the year by San Diego Music Awards.
A graduate of the prestigious Berklee School of Music, Leonard Patton is a true master of Vocal Jazz. His sensational scatting and ability to imitate the sound of various horn and string instruments is reminiscent of Bobby McFerrin. He has a rich, smoky voice and unique style, which has led him to perform and record with such notable artists as Bill Cunliffe, Derek Nievergelt, Mitch Manker, Mike Bedard, Jetro Da Silva, Peter Sprague, and countless others.
Chris Tweedy’s diverse vocal stylings and sight-reading chops have made him a much sought after jazz and contemporary vocalist. He holds a degree in Music Composition from Point Loma Nazarene University, where he founded and directed the vocal jazz quartet Special Delivery. He maintains a private vocal studio in San Diego and is in high demand as a composer, arranger, and music director.
