This inspirational recording artist composes and sings songs that transcend denominations and just speaks to the heart of the listener. With a passion for Gospel, her CD Faith in Progress has blessed people everywhere with its message of faith and love.

Crissy was born in Niagara Falls, NY and introduced to the world at the tender age of four by way of a Jerry Lewis Telethon performance, singing a heartfelt rendition of Jesus Loves the Little Children. Later realizing her ability to capture an audience, Crissy pursued a recording career with sister Tomika and Aunt Nora in the form of the Collins Sisters and Company. They recorded their first gospel album entitled He Cares and traveled across the United States promoting their debut album.

A lifelong praise and worship leader, Crissy got her start at her late grandmother’s Church, House of God, in Lockport, NY. A third-generation church leader and servant, Crissy continues to work closely with her mother, Evangelist Sandi Collins, who has several ministries based in Atlanta, Georgia. Crissy has lent her expertise as a vocal trainer, choir leader, and music director with Churches in Atlanta and across the country. What sets her apart from other gifted singers is her compassion and anointing. Crissy cares for the least of these and it shows in her ministry.

Crissy has appeared on numerous gospel television shows, festivals, workshops, seminars and stages with the likes of Edwin Hawkins, Shirley Caesar, Dorothy Norwood, Mary Mary, Shirley Murdock, Dr. Bobby Jones, Pastor Rance Allen and many other national recording artists.

Taking her ministry to higher heights, Crissy toured with Tyler Perry’s stage play Madea Goes to Jail. Her show stopping rendition of Yes, Jesus Love Me led to big screen opportunities. She also appeared as an actress and singer in the stage play Madea’s Big Happy Family. Crissy has appeared in the following Tyler Perry movies: Diary of a Mad Black Woman, Madea’s Family Reunion, Daddy’s Little Girls, and The Family That Preys.

Crissy has performed in other inspirational stage plays as A Good Man is Hard to Find, Where have All the Good Men Gone and Love Should have Brought You Home. Her resume also includes a performance of the National Anthem at the 2010 NBA finals.

Since 2008, Crissy has toured the globe singing background for internationally known singer, Beyoncé. She has accompanied Beyoncé on four world tours. She has performed with many artists such as Luther Vandross, Kelly Price, Glenn Jones, Little G of Silk, Monica, and Gloria Gainer to name a few.
