Award-winning artist and producer Catherine Alcorn is “a jewel in the crown of Australian cabaret” (ADELAIDE NOW), renowned for her powerhouse vocals, unmistakeable sassiness and razor sharp wit.

Most recently, Catherine was nominated for a Sydney Theatre Award in the Best Cabaret Production category for her new show CATHARTIC and starred in the Australian premiere of the off-broadway cult hit 5 Lesbians Eating A Quiche.

Best known for her side splitting portrayal as Bette Midler, Catherine has entertained thousands across the country in her smash hit stage show The Divine Miss Bette, which has continued to break box office records all over Australia.

Catherine has headlined and appeared in the world’s most celebrated festivals including Adelaide Cabaret Festival, Sydney Festival, Tasmania’s Festival of Voices and Perth Fringe Festival. Internationally, Catherine has performed in New York, LA and Hong Kong.

Catherine’s vivacious personality led to her appointment as the inaugural Noosa Long Weekend Festival Ambassador for two consecutive years in 2014 and 2015.

As a songwriter, Catherine topped the Triple J Unearthed Dance Charts with her former band The Gauge Breakers at position #1 (“Electric Funk”) and #3 (“Next Town Sentrino”).

An experienced presenter and model, Catherine has appeared on and hosted a variety of high profile events including Foxtel’s TVSN and Seven’s The Morning Show.

Catherine is currently starring in a national tour of her critically acclaimed stage show Go Your Own Way: The Story of Christine McVie and looks forward to launching the inaugural Cabaret In The Glen Festival at Sydney’s Glen Street Theatre in the role as Artistic Director this October.
