Eileen Bowman is a well-known actress right here in San Diego and has been seen in numerous regional productions across the country. She has been nominated, not once, but twice, for the San Diego Critics Circle award, in the “Outstanding Featured Performance in a Musical” category. Bowman has been nominated for her role as Adelaide in Guys and Dolls as well as her portrayal of three characters, DeDe,Angelica and Patricia, in Joe vs. the Volcano.
Some of her favorite roles include Eliza in “My Fair Lady,” Lina Lamont in “Singing In The Rain,” Agnes Gooch in “Mame,” and for the 10th year as Grandma Who in “How The Grinch Stole Christmas” at the Old Globe Theatre. She has been seen on TV and in film, but is best remembered as ‘Snow White’ opposite Rob Lowe on the 61st Academy Awards Telecast seen by over half a billion people.
