SPERO ARTS FOUNDATION PRESENTS “EXPRESSIONS OF HOPE’
Tuesday, June 21, 2016 6:00pm
The Spero Arts Foundation invites you to join us at our official “launch party” called Expressions of Hope. It will be an evening of awareness featuring a program with live artistry, dance and music, featuring local artists that embody the forms of expression that are used in our therapy programs, interwoven with stories of personal struggle to find hope and the presentation of the next stage of development of our program.
Funds raised by the evening will be used to make use of a unique opportunity we are being presented with to distribute information cards about our suicide prevention program into the hands of over 160,000 teenage students in San Diego County through collaboration with the local school districts. Please join us for this important evening for our organization and assist us in making this happen in time for the new 2016-2017 school year.

The word “SPERO” is Latin for “HOPE”, and hope is at the core of the Spero Arts Foundation. Through the method of art therapy and artistic expression, we aim to assist youth in finding hope, joy and reasons to live. Guided by master-level art therapists, along with talented local artists and volunteers, we all come together to work toward one main purpose: HOPE
Founded with the intention to prevent the needless suicides among LGBTQ youth of San Diego, SPERO, a 501(c)(3) organization, works to help these extraordinary youth develop healthy coping skills to assist them with their struggles and their personal development into adulthood.
