LEIGH SCARRITT holds a degree in Voice Performance from Arizona State University, and has performed all over North America for over 30 years. A veteran of TV, film, and the stage, Miss Leigh brings a wealth of knowledge to the table. Of the hundreds of students she has taught, many have gone on to perform on television, movies, theater, and commercials. Over 60 of her students have appeared in The Old Globes’ production of The Grinch Who Stole Christmas. Every year, one or both of the actors playing Cindy Lou Who, are Miss Leigh’s students. Her “Girl Band” has won awards throughout Southern California and is a much sought after performance group. An award winning Director, her youth productions have won awards such as Best Production, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Ensemble Cast, from the National Youth Theater. College Preparation should be an integral part of any young actors’ career and Miss Leigh has had students successful at acceptance into such prestigious universities as NYU, Yale, Boston Conservatory, UCLA, Syracuse, Berkeley and Emerson. Miss Leigh considers her most important role as that of mother to her daughter, Tiffany Jane, a gifted musical artist who is proud to announce the release of her new CD. EILEEN BOWMAN was last seen as Grandma Who in Dr. Suess’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas (Old Globe). Prior to that she was Velma Von Tussle in Hairspray (Welk Resort Theatre) and, before that, as Amy in Company (Cygnet Theatre Company). Her other roles include Keely Stevens in Pete ‘n’ Keely, Miss Adelaide in Guys and Dolls, for which she won the San Diego Theatre Critics Circle Craig Noel Award, and the three leading ladies in Joe vs The Volcano, for which she also garnered a Craig Noel Award nomination (Lamb’s Players Theatre). She also appeared in the National Tour of The Art of Broadway as well as Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady, Marian in The Music Man and Lina Lamont in Singin’ in the Rain (Starlight Musical Theatre). She has done numerous national commercials as well as many television features.
DAVID MCBEAN was last seen in Pageant at Cygnet. North Coast Rep credits include: The School for Lies (Clitander), Glorious (Cosme McMoon), Shipwrecked (Man #2), Charley’s Aunt (Lord Fancourt Babberly), Pageant(Miss Deep South – Patte Award), and Holiday Memories (pianist). Other San Diego credits include: Fully Committed (one man show – 40 characters; SD Theater Critics Craig Noel Award). Recent credits: A Christmas Carol? The Radio Play (Marley/Present/others) at Cygnet Theater where he is a Resident Actor, A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Oberon/Theseus) at Intrepid Theater, The Sound of Music (Max) at SD Musical Theater, and a touring production of 12th Night (Feste) for the Old Globe Theater.
